 * We block domains that provide temporary email services and those that are often
   used by spammers. Basically, a whole lot of spammers used that service to register
   for the forums and to post spam here.

   them for now. If we start getting a lot of spam accounts from there though, then
   we’ll have to ban it again.

 * In principe betaal je in dat geval niet voor de software zelf (die inderdaad 
   open source is), maar voor support of voor het gebruik van resources op de servers
   van de plugin-makers (bijvoorbeeld in het geval van het optimaliseren van afbeeldingen)
   gmxcom. Maar open source betekent inderdaad niet dat er geen commerciële insteek
   kan zijn 🙂

   atacked the forums with botnets and viruses
 * securety software plugins blocks mail and ip tempory hold the trafic back 30 
   minutes or 1 hour the spam topics in a list a moderator checks.

    if a spammer 30 minutes blacklisted
   he think boring he try againg 30 minuts blacklists boring try again 30 minutes
   boring trying 3 to 4 or 6 time,s than hes away he spend more time to spaming 
   than he gets back

   registering with gmx-accounts from your original post has now been fixed? Can
   you rephrase your question in Dutch or English (as you prefer)?
 * Ik vrees dat het niet heel duidelijk is op welke vraag je antwoord verwacht gmxcom,
   aangezien het probleem met de gmx-accounts uit je eerste post opgelost is? Kun

 * gmx is opgelost niet iedereen is daar blij mee zo ik lees.
 * probleem was in 2010 al aangetoond.
 * wordpress firwalls blokken dat de forums worden aangevallen daar zijn ze toen
   voor gemaakt.
 * hier in nederland is bijna iedereen wel bezocht door de politie die gmx had en
   aan wordpress werkte tot in beslag names aantoe.
    alleen al omdat de politie 
   dacht dat er op grote schaal gehackt werd.
 * het in de ban gooien van mailboxen of ip range haalt wijnig uit is ook al bewezen.
   komen grote problemen zelfs.
 * darop ontsond het idee als er een aanval is vangen we hem af 30 minuten ban
    
   de spam software vaak virussen of bots of software geschreven om een script te
   testen die uitgelekt is krijg dan een lege site te zien. dus een error terug 
   sommige hostings hebben dat al ingebouwd is het een persoon dan probeert hij 
   een paar keer aan te vallen en na een keer of 3 of 6 houd hij dat voor gezien
   dan is hij dat gewoon beu om telkens in de ban te staan.
 * 10000 hotmail adressen gmail adressen gmx of andere free mails staan door virussen
   of bot nets geblokt ik ben een hoop contacten daardoor in het verleden kwijt 
   geraakt omdat de mail providers niks vrij wouden geven.
 * dit is alleen al een voorbeeld van ik er zijn dus 1000de mensen meer.
 * ik hoop dat het aan de rest van beheer en andere goed uitgelegd kan worden.
    
   dat ze me standpunt echt begrijpen.
 * en wat betreft me qoute of snelle reply op veel forums is in een topic op een
   vorig of hoger bericht op veel forums zie je dat zodat het duidelijk blijft op
   wat je reageert dat mis ik hier.
 * de naam gmx gebruik ik op dit moment dus eigenlijk om te bewijzen dat gmx het
   probleem niet was maar de virussen en bot nets.
 * ik probeer veel in het engels te schrijven want ook dat moet je soms blijven 
   doen om up to date te blijven.
 * omdat hier veel engels geschreven word maak ik van de kans gebruik.

 * De manier waarop omgegaan wordt met hackers/ script-kiddies/ spammers is geen
   eenvoudig onderwerp en ik ben het er mee eens dat het blokkeren van een volledig
   domein niet altijd de beste oplossing is. Ik zal je opmerking zeker doorspelen
   aan de forum-moderatoren hier (maar aangezien de “ban” van gmx.com email-adressen
   is opgeheven is dit puur informatief).
 * Als ik je goed begrijp is het probleem dat je aanhaalt (en waar jij mee kampt)
   veel breder dan enkel de toegang tot de wordpress.org forums gmxcom, maar dat
   is natuurlijk niet iets dat de moderatoren hier kunnen verhelpen 🙂
