Translastions on WordPress Multisite

We have a WordPress multisite with sites in both English and French.
xxxxxx.com is in French and the Loco translations work fine for the plugin

xxxxx.us is in English and we are trying to translate the French hard coded in a plugin.
Loco sees the plugin hardcoded French, translates and saves the files but the translations do not update to the webpage.

Is there a folder I need to move the translation files?
