# Transient Issue anyone?

 * Have anyone encounter issues with setting transients in multisite setup? I am
   not 100% sure if this has anything to do with whether it is a multisite or not
   but I have tried set_site_transient and set_transient and both of them fails.
   Fails as in nothing is added to the options table.
 * The strange thing is the function comes back with “true” meaning it “did” set
   it. But I have looked in the options table and the transient is no where to be
   found. Even using get_site_transient or get_transient, it returns false.
 * Anyone encounter this before?

 * Thanks for the hint…I had to dig around to find some lingering files in wp-content
   folder and I removed them. Seems to be working again.
