# Transferring Webite

 * I have been trying to transfer my wordpress site which was located at [http://www.bloomouterwear.com/wordpress](http://www.bloomouterwear.com/wordpress)
   to just [http://www.bloomouterwear.com](http://www.bloomouterwear.com)
 * I have been following these instructions very closely [http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory](http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory)
 * However, although I use permalinks, I couldn’t find the .htaccess file in the
   wordpress directory. There was an .htaccess file already in the root directory.
   Other than that, I have followed these instructions word for word. I can’t seem
   to get access to my login page which should be at [http://www.bloomouterwear.com/wordpress/login](http://www.bloomouterwear.com/wordpress/login)
 * What’s going on? Is there a way to access the old location of my site? I want
   to be able to go to settings>general and undo the changes I made to the URL because
   it seems I can’t get the hang of transferring my site.
 * All the help is appreciated, I’m pulling my hair out over this one!
