 * Just out of curiosity, I’m with another webhosting, but my domain is with someone
else, so I have the domain pointed to HostGator while I check it out and try
out WordPress (like it so far). I’m currently redoing my webpage while trying
things out. If I decide to transfer from the other host then how does that affect
what I’m doing here on WordPress?
 * Thank you. Sorry for posting so many questions.

 * This is a forum for WordPress self hosted sites. You’d install WordPress on your
hosting account. Are you referring to a WordPress.com account?

 * We’re here to help. I’m just trying to figure out how we can help you. You can
install WordPress on your current domain at hostgator. You could put it in a
sub folder so you could test it out, on a live site.
 * WordPress.com sites are a bit different than slef hosted ones where you installed
WordPress. Let us know if we can help you or if you have any more questions!

 * Oh. I know you are. Lol. I was just saying, maybe on that one I should ask one
of the hostgator tech guys; which I did. My question was answered. I hadn’t thought
about using a sub folder. That’s a good idea. Thank you.
