[Resolved] Transferring my wordpress.com domain to my new web host site

  • Hi I’ve decided to take the plunge and move from having a wordpress.com hosted blog to a wordpress.org blog at bluehost.

My problem is that while I was at wordpress.com I had a domain name for my site –> http://www.thebioscopist.com –> Now I would like to use that again, so that all my old links and blog posts can still have the sme url after I made the transfer to bluehost. Right now i managed to get the http://www.thebioscopist.com to point to my new hosts front page, but as soon as I click on a link to a post it just reverts to the hosts domain name which looks like this –> http://69.89.31.102/~thebios1/

I cant seem to find one clear method for doing this? help…
