Transferring Google gmail app from WordPress.com to .org

    Hi! Is anyone familiar with using the Google Gmail app with WordPress??

    I’ve always used WordPress.com blogs and just transferred one of them to WordPress.org yesterday. In my .com blog I mapped my domain, then set up my email account with Google’s Gmail app (I had info@my site). Now that I’ve transferred everything else, my Gmail is does not receive mail anymore since I set it up with the .com site.

    Everything else is working fine on my new .org website, except that the Google Gmail app I used on the last blog doesn’t receive anymore. I can send emails from it, but I can’t receive any emails. (Senders get an error message.)

    Has anyone experienced this?? Any ideas on what I could do? I’d be thankful for ANY help at all with this!!

    I would be looking at doing the same as you and would be interested to hear if you fixed your problem and if so. How?

    I am experiencing the same problem. I have a email address with lunarpages that I’ve transferred to Google apps. I’ve never experienced a problem receiving emails before with Google apps except with new user registrations on my wordpress.org website. I’m hedging my bets that this is a wordpress.org problem and not a Google apps problem. What can I do?

    I wouldn’t think so, or you’d see more complaints about it. My google apps email with my domain, and wordpress.org install have always worked perfectly
