• I just moved servers. Copied all the contents of my WP blog (using 2.0x). Exported then imported the database. Now when I try to access my blog, I get just a white screen. Can’t login to admin panel.

Any advice for me? Any better way to trace the error?

    Thanks!!

This is strange – it doesn’t matter what I put in the wp-config.php file, I get a blank screen. I can just write nonsense and I get a blank screen. However, if I delete the wp-config.php file, it says, “There doesn’t seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started….”

Any ideas what the problem is??

Moving_WordPress would be a good place to look.

If I had to guess, I’d guess that your imported database has the old URI values (did the address change as part of the move?)

If that’s the case, have a look at this guide: http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/

Nope, address didn’t change. I migrated three other blogs over, all worked just fine. It’s just this one giving me problems.

Is there a better way to track the error? All I get is a blank screen, not much help.

Help! I have the exact same problem. I’m not sure if some file was corrupted in the FTP transfer or what. If I modify config.php nothing happens. If I delete it I get the same message you did, pschwar
