Transferring a domain…

I have set up a new site on Dreamhost. The old site (all the files will go away) lives at web.com. I have to change the dns information at Network Solutions.

I wanted everything to be working and then just do the dns change overnight.

The testing domain is opoa.dreamhosters.com. The domain that is to be transferred is opoa.info. **What specifically do I have to change and where to have the website show up when a user types in opoa.info.

One big question I have is can I just somehow forward from one domain to another so I don’t risk breaking anything?
