A few months ago I transferred my url to a self-hosted wordpress.org blog (heartsleevesblog.com in both cases). All of the posts, tags, etc transferred successfully and I thought I was done. I recently discovered, though, that my old blog still exists at heartsleevesblog.wordpress.com and is still getting traffic. I guess I didn’t transfer completely? I’m new to this, but what I want to do is:
1. Shut down the wordpress.com version (it has an old ugly design) and redirect traffic to the regular url (if possible to keep track of cumulative traffic that’d be great too)
2. Transfer email and blog subscribers over to wordpress.org
Anyone know how to do this?
