transfer to root

    I transfered my blog from mysite.com/blog to mysite.com/

    I installed new wordpress to root server and imported the data

    SO as old permalinks (?p=123 format) remains active I suffixed /blog to post permalinks. Now mysite.com/blog/?p=123 is succesfully redirecting to mysite.com/blog/%postname%

    BUT Now, the permalinks of tags and Categories are not redirecting

    Also, in the new installation I am not getting the option of setting -> Miscellaneous

    Please suggest whats wrong.
