• I have been back and forth and in circles on both the wordpress.com and wordpress.org forums trying to follow their instructions for transferring my subscribers from http://www.wifemomhouseohmy.wordpress.com to http://www.wifemomhouseohmy.com (wordpress.org site) based on what I found.

I have installed jetpack, setup subscriber and posted to my wordpress.com site that subscribers will be transferred. But when I go to “contact support” it sends me in circles. The same occurs on the wordpress.org. This is more than frustrating. Please help!!!!

  • I’m not sure if there is a free way to do this.
You may need to get a Happiness Engineer to help you out here http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/guided-transfer/

    Thanks Robey.

The challenge is I have transferred everything over EXCEPT my subscribers and stats and no where does it say that they will transfer subscribers with the happiness engineers – just the blog. (at this point, I would be willing to pay). Plus, everywhere on their forums and wordpress.org, they say they do transfer the subscribers and stats for free and even give steps on their website:
    1. set up new blog with jetpack
    2. turn on subscribers on jetpack and leave a message on your wordpress.com site that they will be moved to the new site and do not have to subscribe.
    3. click “here” to contact support, which directs you to the forums.

Its all rather frustrating…does anyone know if the happiness engineers ever answer questions in the forums and if the “guided transfer” does in fact transfer subscribers and stats?

    Thanks.

Yeah. That was one of the first threads I found on the subject. I think I may have found a way to solve my problem. Thanks for all your help.
