# Transfer media library problem

 * I moved my site to a new server. my database was very old and cluttered with 
   hundreds of leftover entries from plugins so I wanted to basically start from
   scratch and only keep my posts.
 * Here’s what I did –
    Installed new site (same domain url), used the import/export
   tool for posts Copied my wp-content/uploads folder to the new site Imported the
   wp_postmeta database table to the new site form the old.
 * All of my posts appear, directly linked images appear, but the media library 
   is empty therefore any post that has a set of images from the gallery are not
   displaying.
 * I figured importing the wp_postmeta table to the new database would fix it but
   it didn’t.
 * Where is the table that contains the media library information stored?
