# Transfer failed, http error, error code:406

 * Hi,
 * I get this error message: “Transfer failed, http error, error code:406”
    when
   I try to do an automatic migration.
 * I have copied the key from the destination site to the site to be migrated.
    
   I have selected database + files. And click on Clone then Transfer. The cloning
   is done correctly, but the transfer failed.
 * The site contains 2 posts and 4 images. No plugin excepted WPvivid Backup Plugin.
 * Thanks for help.

 * An http error means the two websites can not be connected with each other.
 * In that case, it is recommended to use the manual transfer option instructed 
   in this [doc](https://docs.wpvivid.com/get-started-transfer-site.html).
