If you have your Visual Composer plugin activated, and you do not have a add-on plugin for it, I think that maybe there is another plugin that is generating this conflict. * Did you try deactivating all the plugins and activate only Visual Composer? If this works, you can then activate each plugin, one by one, and check if Visual Composer is working with each activation.
