Tranlating Theme

Yes thanks i already read that….but i cant get it to work…..i am adding to the functions.php file:

load_theme_textdomain(‘themename’, get_template_directory() . ‘/languages’);

then i am changing the strings to ad the themename, but when i want to create the .pot file using poedit, i enter the themename in project info, then ../ in paths, then __ and _e in keywords and then upon saving the file i am getting this error.

poedit did not find any files in scanned directories.
Entries in the catalog are probably incorrect.
updating the catalog failed.

what is wrong i am doing…the theme is free, so if any one can check it out from the link above and show me the way would be great. thanks
