Trailing Slash Problem

    Hello and thanks for reading.

    I have been trying to fix duplicate content for one day now and can’t figure out how.

    Example of the problem: https://xamoom.com/en
    When you enter this page and add an aditional slash (https://xamoom.com/en/) you still get to the website.

    This gets crawled by Google as well resulting in duplicate content.

    I already added a cannonial url in the Yoast Plugin to this very page to refer to https://xamoom.com/en but this didn’t help.

    Is a redirect the only way to fix this and if yes, can someone recommend me the right approach?
