Trailing “/” for the blog URL
-
The general option “Blog address (URI)” does not let us put a “/” at the end of the URL. I guess there are reasons for that.
But since my web site is an addon domain on another site, failing to end my blog URL with a “/” brings the right page but to a URL that is a subdomain of master domain…. here is an example. My blog URL is
http://www.kangolog.com/fr
So this is the “home” link at the top of the page. If you use this link, you get redirected to
http://kangolog.tome2.net/fr/
which is the same thing, but not what I want. The workaround was to add a trailing “/” in the template, then the home link does not redirect. But I wonder if adding the slash to the template is the best thing to do.
I guess this would be fixed by an apache rule somewhere.
Any idea?
