• My site crashed about two days ago after I got hit with a huge wave of traffic from a keyword through Yahoo search. When the traffic died down a little, the site was still not working so I called my host (liquid web).

Someone from there did a bunch of work, got it back up and running, but ever since, I have been getting no search traffic at all from google, when I normally get about 1000 or so hits from them per day. One thing I noticed was that whoever was working on my site had deactivated all of my plugins, which include “all in one seo pack”, “google xml “sitemaps”, and “robots meta”. I had to go back in after, activate them all, and redo all the settings. Could having the plugins down for just a few hours would kill all of the google search traffic going to it? Or could it be something else? About 30% of my traffic was coming from google, so this is a huge drop for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Highly improbable.
