    Hello
I have a multisite and in one of it’s subsites I have enabled you plugin while having also enabled in the whole mutisite w3tc and varnish an am noticing some issues. When a post is published on the site and it gets some views from the visitors. In the first 24 hours it gets about 100 visitors so it has 100 todays views and 100 overall views. Well, sometimes things don’t go that way. There are times that I have more today’s views and very little overall views and as a result I don’t how many views that post had exactly. Why is this happening and how it can be fixed?

That is indeed strange. I think I’ve heard this from one other user. But, it’s pretty impossible to figure this out without observing the behaviour in real time.

The tracker script is a single one for both the today’s and the total view. Are you noticing any php or mysql errors related to the script?

Also, can you try toggling the Ajax option and the external tracker options in the settings page and monitoring?

When you notice this, are you in a position to check the database to see what the counts of the table are. The wp_top_ten and wp_top_ten_daily tables are the ones to look into. The first has a single entry per post ID. The second has a single entry per hour for each post ID. So you’ll need to total the second.
