    Hello,

    may I ask how does the plugin track when an order is recovered? I had a case where it tagged order as recovered, but the follow up email was not even sent yet, it seemed like a regular order that was completed in a standard way, yet the plugin marked it as recovered.

    I also had cases where a user created an order (with payment pending, but the order was created) and the plugin marked the order as recoverable.

    thank you

    Hello @fjura,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    When user unable to complete the order within 15 minutes then plugin mark the order as abandoned.
    It seems that user has abandoned the order and completes the order before receiving the email. In this case order will be marked as recovered.

    Plugin marks as the order recovered when Woocommerce order status is either processing or completed. For another order status it will mark as recoverable.

    Let us know if you have any questions.

    Thank You!

    Hello,

    thank you for the reply.

    May I ask if its possible to use such filter like this one:
    https://cartflows.com/docs/exclude-on-hold-status-orders/

    but also for “Pending” order status? Or for whenever a customer creates an order? I thought that the plugin only tracks when a user inserts his info (email, etc) and doesnt create an order (doesnt click on “ordder” button). But it also tracks when he creates an order. So for example, customer creates an order and chooses to pay by bank transfer, the order is created and tagged “Pending payment”, the plugin marks the order as recoverable and send an email with a coupon. This is pretty bad because customer that already paid, and who is just waiting for the payment to be processed (may take days) by the bank now receives a discount coupon.

    Hello @fjura,

    We do not have the filter for the ‘Pending Payment’ order status.

    Most of the payment gateways like bank transfer order status set to the ‘on-hold’ hence we have added the filter for the on-hold order status.

    Let us know if you have any questions.

    Hello,

    so it is not possible to set the plugin to only track customers that dont create an order? Meaning those that fill out their information in the checkout, but dont click the “Order” button.

    thank you

    Hello @fjura,

    Plugin captures the abandoned cart i.e customers enter the checkout details but do not place the order and left the checkout.

    Here is the plugin info: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-cart-abandonment-recovery/

    When users back to the checkout page using a plugin recovery email and complete the order (with order status ‘processing’ or ‘completed’) then plugin marks the order as recovered.

    Hi,

    strange, the way the plugin works on my end is that it captures customers that also place the actual order => creating the order in woocommerce, but not necessarily pay for it.

    Hello @fjura,

    Plugin captures the abandoned order from the checkout page and continuously track the same order unit customer completes the order and order status will be ‘Processing’ or ‘Completed’.

    I hope it clarifies.

    Yes, but the plugin marks orders as recovered even when no emails are sent yet, the reporting of recovered orders is fake because it falsly contributes normal orders (paid later by a bank transfer for example) to the plugin, which is not true.

    May I ask, would this filter work if the “on_hold” would be changed to “pending_payment” ?

    add_filter( ‘woo_ca_exclude_on_hold_order_from_tracking’, ‘__return_true’ );

    so like this:

    add_filter( ‘woo_ca_exclude_pending_payment_order_from_tracking’, ‘__return_true’ );

    Hello @fjura,

    No, if you change the filter for pending payment it will not work.
