gabrielshiroma,
What is your website; this is all done in Javascript, you won’t see a change to the HTML of each outbound link, but nevertheless a Javascript event should get fired when they are clicked; you can see the source code for this at the bottom of the block of code that All in One SEO Pack outputs in the head section of the webpage in question.
Hi Peter,
This is the URL: http://souvenirsrosario.com.ar/souvenirs-de-15/
For example, when I click in the link to Facebook (at the end of the post) Google Analytics don’t track the click to the outbound link (the click should be in the “events” section in my analytics dashboard, right?).
Thanks for your reply.
Regards.
PS: I was thinking that a code should be added to the link tag because other plugins do that… (and in that way works) but I don’t want to do that with extra plugins if AIO has this functionality…
gabrielshiroma,
That link should get tracked and filed in the “Outbound Links” category; I’ll test this, it may be because you’re using the new analytics.js tracking.
Hi Peter,
Yes, I am using the “Universal Analytics” and no category in my “Events” report.
Many thanks for any help you can provide 🙂
Hi Gabriel,
I took a look at this and I believe there is a bug affecting you here; I’ll test further and see about fixing it in the next release.
