 * If you use “external page” tracking you will get a html code snippet provided
   that you can put into the external page. If you use url tracking the page has
   to be on the wordpress installation.
 * Makes sense?

 * Thank you for your answer. I see so I went to the split test dashboard and got
   a snippet that looks like this : <img src=”[https://mywebisteurl.com/split-test-for-elementor/v1/tests/1/track-conversion/&#8221](https://mywebisteurl.com/split-test-for-elementor/v1/tests/1/track-conversion/&#8221);
   alt=””/>
   Is this it ? Should I add anything special to the alt parameter ?

 * Yes that is it. There is no need to put something into the alt parameter. You
   can if you want to but it has not effect at all so it does not matter.
