    Hi,

I installed today the plugin and tested it out.

I have disabled all the tracking. Unfortunately, the cookie hustle_module_show_count-embedded-1 is being used.

Is there a way to disable as well the cookie?

    Hi @edu912073,

It seems that we’re talking about a cookie set for determining how many times the module should show up.
I’m not sure if this could be completely disabled so I will need to check with our devs about it and get back to you with more info.

    Cheers,
    Predrag

    Hi @edu912073,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We are currently facing issues with the email notifications and hence the delay.

Regarding the “hustle_module_show_count-embedded-1” this is used by the Hustle module to store the number of times the module gets displayed, it’s used internally by the plugin to ensure the module is shown less than X times when configured.

I’m afraid, it isn’t possible to disable it, as it can affect the workflow. Any specific use case on why you are looking to disable the cookie so that we could check further if there is any workaround that could be shared?

    Regards,
    Nithin

    Hi @wpmudevsupport11

in my case I would like to be GDPR compliant, and only essential cookies if possible.

I think that in case the tracking is disabled on the plugin, no cookie should be set (since it will be anyway not tracked).

    Looking forward for a solution.

    Best
    Eduardo

    Hello there @edu912073

This is shared with Hustle developers and it seems that a workaround isn’t possible at the moment as this should be taken care of in the plugin source.
That’s already tasked for a future release, I really can’t provide any ETA at the moment, if there are any further updates about it we will keep you posted here though. 🙂

    Thank you,
    Dimitris

    Hello everybody,
I am in the same situation as Edu. It would be great if in the next version this problem was solved, since it is an important legal issue for those of us who have to comply with GDPR.
    Best regards!
    Luis
