    Hi.

We have deactivated and removed this plugin but the tracking code is still in the site. We’ve searched all theme files including header.php, functions.php and footer.php (and hundred others) but can’t find where it is placed. Please get back to where it is and/or how to remove it.

If checking view source code you will find this line followed by the tracking code.
"<!-- This site uses the Google Analytics by ExactMetrics plugin v6.0.1 - Using Analytics tracking - https://www.exactmetrics.com/ -->"

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I don’t see it in the source of that page. Maybe you are seeing a cached version.

    Hi there,
A plugin can’t output things after it’s uninstalled. You likely either have a caching plugin or service (from your host) that’s running thats keeping that output there

Yeah, my own wp cache deleting nor server cache deleting didn’t do it, somehow the server guys could delete the cache and it got away. Thx.
