# Trackbacks not working

 * I’m on WP 2.1.2 and trackbacks aren’t working for me – I can get them coming 
   in, but the ones that I send seem to be going no where. I also tried the [http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/TestTrack/](http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/TestTrack/)
   and it doesn’t work either.
 * Questions:
    Is the problem in my WP theme or my installation of WP? Is there 
   a manual way to send a trackback?

 * sounds like either a problem with your configuration settings or a plugin, what
   plugins do you have installed ?

 * I have about 30 different plugins, I have started to deactive ones that I don’t
   use anymore – is there a particular type of plugin that could be causing the 
   problem?
 * I’m “guessing” it is not my config since I’ve always been using Fantastico to
   do the initial install and subsequent upgrades and track backs did work before.
