# Trackbacks not working

 * Hi,
 * I setup 2 wordpress blogs, and tried to do a trackback from one to the other.
   Blog A had the original post. I wrote some comments about the post on Blog B,
   and put Blog-A’s permalink in the trackback field. But nothing happened.
 * I thought a comment was supposed to appear in Blog-A from the trackback…
 * Am I missing something?

 * Are the comments moderated on blog A? If yes, check the comments awaiting for
   moderation.

 * Uh, maybe a stupid question, but since you said you used the permalink, I’m curious
   if you did not in fact use the **trackback** link? There is a difference.

 * Well that may be part of my problem. When I click trackback at the bottom of 
   the post on Blog A, the page just refreshes.
 * What am I supposed to do from that point? Just go to Blog B, write a new post,
   and put the Blag-A permalink in the trackback field?

 * You don’t click the link, you copy it and put it in the trackback box – and as
   moshu showed, there is a huge difference between the trackback link and permalink.

 * But if there is a link to a wordpress article, your wordpress should automatically
   ping the link (pingback), no?Unless you’re using Bad Behaviour. I am, so nobody
   can trackback to me, nor pingback to me 😀
 * Maybe it’s time to rid of Bad Behaviour
