Trackbacks My Full Post!

    Hi,

    I’m wondering if anyone has an idea on how to shorten the length of the text that gets quoted in a trackback.

    For some reason WordPress will often send my entire post as a trackback, which is really annoying… it looks terrible on the blog that gets the trackback, and of course even opens me up to duplicate content issues.

    Any thoughts on how to fix this?

    A Trackback will send the excerpt of the post instead, if you put one in. When you write a post, look down the page for the “Optional Excerpt” field. Use it, and it’ll get sent instead.
