trackback not working

    track back does not work on my pc at home running windows xp pro, avg free version and thats all – when opening in mozilla firefox, the trackback displays on my blog but isnt getting through to the recipient. does anyone have experience similar to this and can help solve this riddle?

    avg free? windows xp? (i wont even ask)

    Heres some avg free questions?

    1. Does pc have internet access.
    2. Are you using NAT?
    3. Is pc behind a dmz zone?
    4, Is pc using a reserved IP?
    5. Is pc running Zone alarm or its clones?
    6. Bill Gates has hexxed your pc since there is no such thing as a legitimate free windows XP?

    Trackback runs on your server, not your computer, so your PC configuration shouldn’t have anything to do with it. What do you mean it’s not getting through to the recipient? Your blog is the recipient!

    Is your PC the server for your blog?

    I beg to differ – as it sounds like he is saying he is running the blog from his home pc, ie, it IS his server — hence my questions.
