Hi,
By default, the event label includes the entire URI, with the hostname. If you’d like to only include the hostname, you should setup a filter in your Google Analytics account to eliminate the rest of the URI and only keep the desired part as the Event Label. Infact, that’s why GADWP sends the entire URI to Google Analytics, to provide the full information. Information that can be further manipulated with filters.

Thank you for your reply. I’ve googled to find more info about how to setup such a filter, but couldn’t find anything about it. Do you have any more info on this, or a link?
Are you maby referring to a custom report? I’ve noticed that it is possible to setup a filter there.
My goal is to get a list of popular hostnames, based on the URI in the Event Label.
Here’s template that will display all outbound clicks, by label: https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/template?uid=5hBIhjt2TUayjsSb9s3QBA
In case you would like to have only the hostnames, you’ll need to create a separate View or use your current one and setup some filters:
1. Go to Admin menu, select the account, the property, the view and click on Filters.
2. Click on Add Filter and then select Custom under the Filter Type. Select Search and Replace and:
Filter Field
Event Label
Search String
^(.*:)\/\/([A-Za-z0-9\-\.]+)(:[0-9]+)?(.*)$
Replace String
