• I can’t figure out what the heck is going on here. I have a multisite setup that was working fine. I created http://jonlink.me a while back. It worked well. Then I put it down. I recently tried to pick it back up. I updated the theme and created a new post. It looked fine until I tried to test out the theme in another browser.

Not only did it still have the old theme, but it also didn’t have the new post. (see pic)

When I login and go to the site it looks as expected. When I go to the site from a browser that isn’t logged in it is the “old version.”

I tried disabling wp super cache, but that didn’t do anything. I’m at a loss what to try next.

    I deeply appreciate any help!!!

  • I went and got the one on the left of the picture and the source code at the bottom says it was “generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2012-06-19 22:42:26” so it’s still loading super cache for visitors. I don’t know much about it but I would guess you need to delete some files or something.

    Clear the cache.

Thanks, Andrew and Pali! For some reason just deactivating the plugin wasn’t enough, nor was deleting the cache through the plugin interface. Deleting, disabling (through the plugin’s interface), and then deactivating (through WP’s interface) was the right recipe.

It is strange though that the WP Super Cache was keeping an old version of the site cached for that long. I made updates at the beginning of June…
