Total Ticket Sales is over-reported on the PayPal Orders page

Hello!

I have one Event on a client’s website that is over reporting Total Ticket Sales and Total Tickets Ordered, specifically only in the welcome-panel-content on the PayPal Orders page. It states there are 192 Orders and over reports revenue (which for obvious reasons I will not disclose on a public forum).

I tallied up individual orders from the order list on the same page, as well as Attendees, and checked the database and confirmed that the total was 74 and there are no duplicates. The welcome-panel-content on the Attendees page also confirms that there were 74 tickets sold. And adding the “Total” column on PayPal Orders reflects an amount that lines up with that the Client has actually received in their PayPal account.

In summary, it seems like the Total Ticket Sales an Total Tickets Ordered details on the PayPal Orders are being miscalculated, or aren’t lining up with the data.

WordPress Version: 5.8.2
Event Tickets version : 5.1.7 (also tested on version 5.2.1)
The Events Calendar version : 5.8.1 (also tested on version 5.11.0)

Thanks for your patience on this.

We have tried to reproduce this issue on our end and we were not able to reproduce any miscalculation for order count vs attendees.

The only case where it might mismatch is if you have added attendees manually to that event using the Add Attendee button: https://d.pr/i/RQUEkO

This is a feature from Event Tickets Plus.
