Total Statistics for a Player

    Hey,

    i’ve build a Webpage for our Soccer-Club based on Sportspress and I have to tell you that it’s pretty awesome!

    I just have one issue which i cannot solve:
    Our Club is existing for about five years and has played a lot of matches in this time.
    When I edit a Player and set his total Goals and games etc. it doesn’t Count for the total statistic. It is a bug or did I miss something.

    @kaqn4p Glad to hear you’re enjoying the plugin. The total statistics in player profiles will automatically count the statistics from all played events rather than adding up the manual statistics entered for that player.

    Each competition and season statistics can also be calculated automatically from events, but if you choose to enter them manually via the player edit page, you’ll need to do the same for the totals. I hope that makes sense 🙂

    Hey Brian,
    thank you for your fast response!
    Is there a possibility to Change the logic of the total field so it sums up the manually edited statistics too? or Would be it be possible to create a new field which is able to handle this?
    We’ve got a lot of old data and we want them to be considered too. but we also want to evaluate the actuall statistics automatically.

    Im agree with kaQn4p.

    Total statitisc if a player appears just in back end and not in front end.

    I wish you could resolve it.
