    The screenshot you posted is of the forums list, where I would not expect topics to show.

    Could you explain a but more about what you are hoping to see.

    Thanks for the swift reply Robin!

    I was hoping to see the alternate version that lists the main forums into separate sections.
    (bbp style pack > forum templates > second version)

    I’ve tried adding category > forum > topics (and various permutations, hoping that it was my mistake) and it still didn’t work, so I’m not sure what I’m missing or how I should go about it.

    You can take a look here: http://themightyartist.com/forums/

    The second version isn’t being used.

    Can you go into

    dashboard>settings>bbp style pack>plugin information and copy the text opposite

    bsp_templates

    it will look something like

    a:1:{s:8:”template”;s:1:”1″;}

    and post what is there to this thread

    Thread Starter pikaland

    (@pikaland)

    Sure thing!

    It’s:
    bsp_templates a:1:{s:8:”template”;s:1:”1″;}

    thanks, can you as a test only try switching to a default theme such as twentyten – I suspect your theme might be conflicting.

    Hi Robin,

    You’re right – the theme conflicts with the plugin, so once I switched it out to a more bbPress friendly theme it worked just fine.

    Thanks so much for helping me look into it!

    No problem – Great – glad you are fixed !

    Thank you for adding this in updates.

    Sorry to open this thread again, but I think I have the same problem?

    I am using SKT White design a long time and after updating to WordPress 4.6.1 with the actual Plugin bbp style pack version, I only see one categorie with 2 forums.
    Before updating I saw all my forums and catergories (10-15 forums, 5 categories).
    Also after switching to Twenty Thirteen Style the problem still excist.
    For me it’s not an option to change the style only to make bbpress work again since the whole site is online and is using the SKT White style.

    Here are some informations:
    WP version 4.6.1
    Theme SKT White 1.7.0
    PHP version 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.5
    bbPress version 2.5.10-6063

    Active Plugins Name and Version
    – p1 Advanced Excerpt 4.2.3
    – p2 Akismet 3.2
    – p3 bbp style pack 3.2.7
    – p4 bbPress 2.5.10

    bsp_templates a:1:{s:8:”template”;s:1:”1″;}

    I also saw this changelog:
    “3. In the background I’ve improved how the plugin updates work as some people were losing style changes on updates.”
    I still have to apply the Forum Index Styling again after an update of the plugin because colors are reseted.

    I hope that someone can help with this problem

    Thanks a lot.

    Ok I was able to fix it myself. It was because of the Advanced Excerpt Plugin I am using for WordPress.

    Best regards
