    You need to reduce padding between the menu links, Then you can add another menu link

    I’m assuming that there is some code to set the maximum length the text can be in menu but I can’t find it in the CSS ? any clues ? I don’t think reducing the padding will increase it that much (and i can’t find where to do that either ..)

    oh, ok. no problem. apologies !

    But I found the solution (thanks to my son), in case any one else gets stuck with this kind of thing. Using the Google chrome inspect option to track down a hidden css file that then has to be accessed by ftp was the answer ! (thank goodness for children !)
