Top Menu Bug – Menu Items Enlarge Header

Whenever I add menu items to my site, it enlarges the header. It seems like the spacing/padding is off. Once I remove all items from the menu, the header returns to normal. However, when I add menu items and reduce screen size so the burger (mobile) menu shows, the header is normal. I’ve tried to adjust padding and sizing but nothing! Please help!!!
