  • Hi ffssere. The search button is driven by jQuery. If you look at your site on a mobile device you’ll notice the collapsed menu and sidebar icons don’t work either; they are also driven by jQuery. The most likely cause is a plugin conflict. If your icons were working recently and now they’re not, deactivate whatever plugin(s) you recently installed. If that doesn’t fix it then you’ll need to deactivate all your plugins and see if that fixes the problem. If it does, activate them one at a time until you find the one causing the issue.

Why doesn’t the Mobile Sharebar plugin work? I have no idea. It apparently overwrites or modifies the theme jQuery scripts that control the mobile menus and sidebars. Glad you were able to find it and get it fixed.
