    Its dependant on the Theme you are using. Why not view your site from a browser; Right-click on the image you want to replace and it will give you teh filename that you need to replace with your new image.
    If you are trying to add an image that does not exist in the theme, that is a much longer discussion as you are editing the Theme.

    Yes, it is depends on the theme..you can change the image from style.css header banner section or header.php file of your theme..you need to check both these files and need to check where you have to add the image…as you are modifying the actual theme…
