Carlos,
It seems to be a clash between Quick Cache and the way it processes the JS code.
Am not familiar with Quick Cache. I’ll have to check what settings it has to offer and if one of those particular ones is causing an issue.
Can you confirm, but there shouldn’t be an issue with W3?

You can try one option:
Under “Don’t Cache These Special URI Patterns?” options in Quick Cache, you can add a new line for top-10
The current default list is:
wp-app
wp-signup
wp-register
wp-activate
wp-login
wp-admin
xmlrpc
Let me know if this works?
I´m sorry, I was missunderstood. The problem I’m having is with W3 cache. So, I’m confirming there is an issue with W3 (at least for me).
Thanks for your help.

Apologies… I miss read. I’ve not faced a problem in all my testing.
Do you have the JS optimising settings on in W3 Total… i.e. JS minify?
Ok, JS minify is enable, all other settings in JS are unchecked
Carlos
I just checked W3 settings again, as I said JS minify is enable, and all other settings in JS are unchecked, but in general settings minify is not enable. Could this affect? Maybe now that i´m using w3 you could give me the best setting to use with Top 10?
Displaying the post nunbers is a nice option that I would like to keep. Again, thankyou for your help.

Could you try disabling the JS minify option?
Alternatively, is there an option to set top-10 as an exclusion?
I tried w/o minify Bit still no luck, the issue keep showing ramdomly.

Carlos, I’ve posted in the W3 Total Cache folder to see if there is a solution.
Am also going to create a workaround in Top 10, however, this might not be ideal since the counts might be old

Not sure if you tried but can you add top-10 in the “Never cache” related box on the Page Cache Settings tab. apologies I don’t know the exact setting name, since I don’t have this configured anywhere.
I have two options in w3
1. Never cache the following pages
2. Cache exception list
Wich one should use, and wich .php file should use too.

You can try top-10-counter.js.php
Ok, placing top-10-counter.js.php in W3 Cache exception list seems to work. Since last saturday (after applying the fix) I didn’t have any issue displaying number of views on posts. I wi8ll keep checking, but for now seems to be resolved.
Thanjs for all your help and for a great plugin.

Thank you for checking. Please let me know if an issue crops up.
What is the exact field you entered this in?
Ajay, i´m sorry to tell you that the issue appeared again in a random fashion. So i disable “Display number of views on posts” again.
