Turn Off Tooltip

    Is there a way to completely turn off the tooltip bubble on hover? I would prefer to simply link to the bottom of the page to view the footnotes. Would be nice if there was an option to turn this off in the admin settings. Hopefully I can disable this somewhere in the code for now. Thanks.

    Just wanted to add a few more comments on this request. The footnotes that I’m adding are very very long, sometimes a paragraph for each footnote. This is required, since the content is for research and references scientific data reference. Using a hover is not practical in this case, as the bubble takes up the entire page. I would prefer not to modify the original code, so please provide a work around to completely disable the tooltip on hover. Thanks.

    Hi,

    Switching on/off tooltips is something you can achieve if you go into Settings -> Footnotes.
