    Hi,
What is the best way to transfer posttypes and taxonomies from toolset types to Custom Post Type UI?
    Thanks

Right now, we do not have any sort of import/export related to plugins/tools outside of our own, so the only answer I have is recreating the settings/options for the post types/taxonomies in CPTUI, based on what’s been set in Types. Hopefully not a long process, other than potentially tedious based on the amounts you need to convert.

    Hi,
Thanks. Just to be sure there is still no transfer functionality right?
I am about to transfer the CPTs and taxonomies manually. My question is if it is possible to create the CPTs and taxonomies with Custom Post Type UI, while the Toolset Types plugin is still active (and the cpts etc are still registered). That way it is easier for me to check if all the settings are set correctly. So is it ok to recreate yet existing CPTs and taxonomies with your plugin or do i need to deactivate Types first and then start creating the CPTs and taxonomies with your plugin?

    Thanks

Correct, we haven’t done any new work regarding Toolset Types.

I don’t foresee any site-taking-down conflicts arising from having both active at the same time.

The only “oddity” I can think of is going to be which one registers their settings last. Post types get saved in a global array, last I checked, and if I was to register the same post type in two different places, the code snippet that runs last is the one that gets used, because the first one is simply overwritten in that array. More an oddity than anything.
