# Tools setting

 * I installed the plugin yesterday and so far, so good – I am blocking three particular
   countries that have no business being on a US-centric website.
 * My question relates to the Tools setting to check IPs. When I run my own IP addresses,
   one of which is whitelisted as well, I see the following:
 * IP Adress [*.*.*.*] belongs to United States.
 * This country is not permitted to visit the frontend of this website.
    This country
   is not permitted to visit the backend of this website.
 * The US is not being blocked on the frontend or backend. US IPs are able to access
   the front end at the moment, as judged from the traffic log.

 * There is a bug on the tools tab that displays that information.
 * The actual blocking process works just fine. So users from countries that you’ve
   not blocked are not actually banned
