# Tools > Performance Cache Setting?

 * In the WordPress Dashboard, there is a setting under Tools > Performance to enable
   a cache. Will this conflict with the WP Optimize cache if I have it enabled? 
   Should I disable the Tools cache?

   While [it is not advisable to have multiple caching plugins active](https://teamupdraft.com/documentation/wp-optimize/topics/caching/faqs/is-wp-optimize-compatible-with-others-cache-plugins/)
   on your site, WPO will still work on your site, but will automatically disable
   its own caching feature if another caching tool is detected.
 * I will recommend disabling the cache feature found at Tools > Performance to 
   avoid conflicts.
