Toolkit for multiple wordpress blogs

  • Hi,

I am sure some of you mange more than one blog. This is my case, I have a few.
This involves multiplying the management, control, issues, plug-ins, backup etc … per number of blogs.

Dotnetnuke and other projects like Wpmudev let you to do something like I am requesting. But I still would like to continue working with WordPress. I wonder if there is any kind of WordPress MultiUser blog software, or helpful plug-in that will make all the process much easier.

Let me know if you have some info regarding to this. Thanks

  • Um, Wpmudev doesn’t actually. It’s a collection sites for plugins for wordpress multiuser.

http://mu.wordpress.org is what you’re looking for.

Thanks. I have read about mu.wordpress.org is and I am not sure If it is what I am looking for. I need to have a central database and some blogs accesing to that database but hosted on diferente domains.

Its not clear if mu.wordpress.org allow you to create domain-a.com, domain-b.com, etc … on server ONE and to have the database on server TWO.

    Regards

Hmm… My question too. Guess we’ll just have to download WPµ and find out. Ah, so many prods to poke and so little time…
