  • Having the same issue. GravityForms emails sent via Postman all have a <p> tag surrounding the content followed by 4 <br> tags before the content starts. I have tried turning off auto formatting in GravityForms as well so it sends raw HTML, but the same thing occurs… This is also present in the Postman admin test email though, which has nothing to do with GravityForms…

Gravity forms have replied to a ticket of mine saying it is the Email Templates plugin causing this issue. It’s strange as when the emails from WooCommerce come through it is fine but when the others come through it has the paragraph tags & 4 x br tags.

Hope the dev can look at it asap.

    I also have this issue.

Also, have this issue with Postman and Gravity Forms.

I tested this and I can’t reproduce the issue.

    Gravity forms Version 2.0.7.2
    Wordpress 4.8.1
    Postman Version 1.7.2
Both emails confirmation and notification are OK

I would recommend you deactivate other plugins and change theme. Some of them could change the default wordpress auto paragraphs behaviour.

Another thing worth to try is going to your emails settings in gravity form, edit the notifications and check the Disable autoparagraph setting

Also notice the image in mobile view, the email is not responsive.

Have tried switching theme to default twentyseventeen and disabling plug-ins – also tried turning off formatting in GravityForms – issue persists…
