• Hi! Good plugin but very annoying bunch of default inline styles. (And why to not optional inline also?) In common the table plugin should not to brings a LOT of styles that user can not to disable by simple press disable styles. The last 2.1 version is even more bad. Its brings not only more opinionated styling but the more deep unnecessary nesting of elements.
Tables exists not by their own but in context of the whole site styles. The site styles already had the background color (which is not always white FYI), the font style and size defined in root, body and html element. Why “reset styles” of the plugin makes background WHITE? Default background color it`s not the tables business. Its already defined in other special places.
Give for the users good HTML for the tables, the default site styles is the users business. If you receive commits I could help you to solve this issues.
