# Too many wrong attempts…

 * So I was typing my pass too quickly and did it wrong a few times and now it tells
   me to try again later…
 * Well… I have 5 sites that I can not get into that I need to get into now. I’ve
   renamed the plugin to eliminate the login issue but I see nothing on how to reset
   and, its been 20 minutes or more and am still told to try again later.
 * How long do I have to wait and how do I reset?

 * I’m sorry to hear you were having lockout issues. The Clef plugin does not perform
   rate limiting or lockouts. From the description it sounds like you are experiencing
   a [non-Clef-related lockout](http://support.getclef.com/article/54-i-m-locked-out-of-my-wordpress-site#lockouts)
   likely via the Limit Login Attempts plugin, which many hosts run as a must-use
   plugin.
