Too many redirects error, too many resources being used

I have recently been experiencing a too many redirects error message which shuts down access to my site. I deactivated all my plugins until the problem cleared up and it stops the error code when I deactive member access. I also have been receiving emails from my host that I am using too many resources. Mine is a small site with very little activity and this only started when I started having the error message for member access. I tried deleting it and reloadng it but that didn’t do it. I have to deactivate the plugin then reactivate it and its good for a little while…maybe a day then the error pops up again. I’m not sure what to do but change the plugin to something else although I don’t know if that will solve the problem.
