  • Yes I’m also getting a load of access attempts, but are you sure that it’s Wordfence Security that’s attracting all those spammers, maybe Wordfence is just making you aware of what was actually there all the time.

Try Login Security Solution to cut down on the access attempts.

a week before everything was working fine with this plugin, messup started from few days. I asked hosting company to explain about this but they said my site is fully secured even other ip tracking plugin was also not counting this ip attacks…
one more problem I am facing that this plugin is taking heavy server load so I disabled and deleted from our system… something is going wrong with this plugin, I reported to admin but no response from them

Yes I had the same problem with the plugin with loads of hack attacks, but no way do I blame the plugin for that because it’s a good plugin. The hackers got into my Wordfence plugin and changed everything so that the plugin actually started working for the hackers instead.

So I uninstalled and reinstalled Wordfence plugin and it was OK after that. It’s a great plugin and I will be upgrading to the pro version, but I have to agree with you that the support for the Wordfence plugin is absolutely dreadful and completely hopeless.

lionel1: I’d like to learn more about how they changed the plugin if you still have that information.

    Thanks,

    Mark.

Dear Mr. Mark, I don’t think that hacker will inject inside our installed plugin.. but please now my problem is that I can’t install this plugin and some file could not be upload through FTP Channel, could you tell me why this has happening?

Well, Successfully installed this plugin on our website. now I will check login and logout section for half an hour if attack remain as usual by different Ip as I stated earlier then I will report it here, if not then it might be cause of conflict with quick cache plugin. as both plugin “Quick cache and Wordfence” caused too heavy server load so I decided to work with only “wordfence” plugin.
