Too many google adsense ads between posts

I hired a programmer to put adsense ads up so they would go in between my posts on the front page of my site.

The thing is his coding seems to want to place an adsense ad after every post. You can see what I mean if you visit my site. You will see large white spaces starting after the third post.

I don’t have the money to hire this guy to correct this.

Anyway I can get my index.php to place just two ads?
